New Tab Widgets v2 Release
New Tab Widgets v2 has been published to the Chrome Web Store! Download links are at the bottom of this post.
If you aren't familiar with the original NTW, it's a Chrome extension that allows you to replace the default new tab page with one that is highly customizable. NTW allows you to see information like the time, weather, news headlines, or anything else, whenever you open a new tab or window in Chrome.
What's New
Widgets
Widgets are now individual Chrome Extensions. This means you can download them from the Web Store and developers can publish their own widgets freely. A developer guide to writing widgets will be posted soon.
Packs
NTW also supports packs, or bundles. Currently, only wallpaper packs are supported but I'd like to expand this to full themes as well.
